Harold Hassebrock joined Moffitt
Associates in 1999 following a successful 34 year manufacturing operations career. Most recently Harold served
as Vice President - Manufacturing for the Grayson division of Robertshaw Controls/Siebe of Long Beach California.
During his tenure at Robertshaw Harold was responsible for the Grayson lean transformation, not only at Long Beach,
but also at their Mexican facilities, as well as at new acquisitions in the US. In the last two years he has also
served in the additional role of internal consultant in lean techniques as he introduced lean thinking at these
new divisions as well as at other Siebe/Robertshaw divisions. His other successes include full ISO 9000 certification
at all Grayson plants and six sigma process improvement implementation at all locations. He is a trained "Six
Sigma Champion."
Prior to joining Robertshaw, Harold served for five years as President of AMW Industries, a pump manufacturer.
Before that he spent 23 years with the Mueller Company in posts ranging from Machinist, Foundry Foreman, Manufacturing
Engineer, Materials Manager to Vice President - Operations. His early specialization was in Manufacturing Engineering
and in Materials Management in metal working venues, and he brings excellent technological as well as leadership
skills to his consulting practice.
At Grayson, Harold was closely involved with Moffitt Associates for over three years, and his experience includes
study with the Japanese masters whose teachings form the basis for our
Lean Manufacturing practice. His excellent shop background and strong commitment to lean operations plus his demonstrated
skills in the implementation of continuous improvement programs make Harold an strong member of the Moffitt Associates
team. His extensive experience typifies our desired consultant profile of one with a long basic manufacturing career
experience coupled with strong up-to-date lean training and implementation skills.
Harold was educated at California State University at Fullerton and makes his home in Yorba Linda, California with
his wife Susan and their son.
